A complete custom build, finished to the highest standard
This Kellyville project was a full custom build. Our clients engaged their own architect to design the home, and brought the plans to Refined Group to deliver. From there, one team took responsibility for the entire project: the home itself, the swimming pool and the landscaping, completed together as a single, cohesive build rather than handed between separate contractors.
At 65 squares, it is a substantial home: five bedrooms including two master suites, a kids’ retreat and multiple living zones, a walk-in pantry, mud room, laundry chute, triple garage and a covered alfresco flowing to the pool deck. But it’s the detail that sets this home apart: herringbone timber floors, natural stone benchtops and splashbacks, curved joinery, brass accents and arched openings carried consistently through every room.
The finishes throughout are genuinely high-end: a light-filled double-height living space, custom joinery, natural stone, brushed tapware and a kitchen strong enough to earn its own HIA Awards recognition. The result speaks for itself: a home selected as a finalist in two categories at the 2023 HIA Awards.
Built through COVID without losing momentum
This home was built through the middle of COVID: a period of lockdowns, trade shortages and the worst material supply disruption the building industry has seen in decades.
Careful forward-ordering of materials, long-standing trade relationships and honest, constant communication with our clients kept the project moving throughout. The owners moved into their completed home, pool and gardens on time and on budget, exactly as planned.
